Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking full-time, experienced Early Childhood faculty in General Studies for the 2021-22 school year. Applicants should have knowledge of an interdisciplinary curriculum and familiarity with dual-language programs. Our faculty teaches in a professional, joyful Jewish educational environment. Teachers collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that are student-centered, experiential, and dynamic. Responsibilities include preparing differentiated lessons for a range of learners, observing and assessing students, communicating goals and progress with families, and writing anecdotal reports. Excellent organizational and writing skills are required. Among the essential duties are supporting children’s social, emotional and academic growth and developing play-based curriculum that spans across content areas and integrates learning in meaningful ways. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Early Childhood settings and a BA/MA in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
